Holiday Light Installation in Pittsburgh — Designed, Hung, and Taken Down for You

The best-looking house on the street, without you on a ladder in November. I design the layout, install it properly on real outdoor power, and come back in January to take it all down. One-story homes are my specialty. Booking in October for November installs.

Now booking: October for November installs

How it works

Every package is quoted individually — your roofline, how much light you want, and whether I'm supplying it all factor in. Labor is billed at $75/hr plus a $50 trip charge, and you get the full estimated price in writing before your date is locked. Call (412) 326-9761.

The packages

All packages are priced by quote after I see the house — labor at $75/hr plus a $50 trip charge, confirmed with you before booking. Veterans (DOD ID) & senior citizens take 20% off — booking included.

One-story homes are the specialty

Most of my holiday work is on one-story homes, and that's deliberate: it's where a clean, fast, fairly-priced install happens from ladders — no lift rentals inflating your quote, no crew trampling the roof. Ranch in Cheswick, Cape Cod in Oakmont, one-story in Verona or Plum — that's the sweet spot. Two-story roofline? Call anyway and tell me what you've got; if it's a fit, you'll get a number, and if it's not, I'll tell you that too.

The electrician difference

Most light hangers run your display off whatever outlet they can find, on a chain of extension cords. I'm an electrician first — the display gets powered like it matters:

Rather never hang lights again?

Permanent eave lighting is the once-and-done version: low-profile LED lighting mounted under your eaves, controlled from your phone, holiday colors in December and clean white light the other eleven months. My Permanent Eave Lighting package ($799 — 100ft + dedicated outlet, mounted & installed) is listed in the products section — ask about it when you call and I'll tell you straight whether it fits your house better than seasonal installs.

Common questions

When should I book holiday light installation?

October. Booking in October locks a November installation date, gets the design settled before the rush, and means you're lit right after Thanksgiving instead of waiting on a December slot.

Do I have to buy the lights?

Your call. With the design + install package I supply commercial-grade LED strings cut to your roofline; with install-only, I hang lights you already own. Either way you keep the lights at takedown unless you add storage.

How does takedown and storage work?

Takedown happens in January — every strand comes down, gets tested, coiled, and labeled by section. With the storage option, your labeled lights are kept for you until next season; without it, they're packed and handed back ready for your shelf.

What does it cost?

It's quote-based — roofline, footage, and whether I supply the lights all move the number. Labor runs $75/hr plus a $50 trip charge, and you get the full estimated price in writing before a deposit locks your date. Call (412) 326-9761.
